Newport Beach, CA—The Western Conservative Action Conference, (WCPAC) announced today the start to its annual gathering of local, statewide and national leadership for two days of critical analysis and discussion of current issues facing Californians today.
“WCPAC brings an extraordinary opportunity for west coasters to attend a one-stop-shop political conference with all the major conservative players in politics”, said Jim Lacy, WCPAC Chairman, “I am extremely impressed with this year’s speaker line up, which includes Governor Tim Pawlenty of Minnesota and 2010 gubernatorial candidates Steve Poizner and Meg Whitman.”
WCPAC is hosting a number of panels and presentations including a critical analysis of President Barack Obama and his administration’s policies, presentations on immigration and redevelopment and panels on new technology and present day legal issues.
“This conference is not one to miss as Californians are facing some of the toughest issues yet with a government run healthcare system proposal being passed through Congress and the constant threat of tax increases.” said Lacy, “There seems to be a never ending assault on our freedoms and liberties from the liberal majority who continuously put their personal opinions and special interests in the way of protecting those they represent.”
WCPAC kicks off at 5:00 pm at the Radisson Newport Beach and goes through 7:00 pm Saturday. Tickets can be purchased at the door and more information on the conference can be found by visiting www.westerncpac.com
